As a portrait photographer, my specialties are high school seniors, couples, modeling lookbooks, headshots, and photos for your social media. I also take on a limited number of family clients per season.
My portrait photography typically takes place in an outside space using natural light, or in the comfort of your own home. My goal is to capture your personality in a space where you are most comfortable – the best photos are of relaxed people! I don’t do props or a lot of lighting, and I don’t use a studio. The only limit is that I don’t take pictures on or near train tracks – I care about your safety!
Boudoir photoshoots will take place within the comfort of your own home. We also have the option of renting a hotel room or a local studio, but please remember that any rental fees will be up to you and not included in my packages.
Any location photography permits are your responsibility. When you choose a location, I will do the research on any necessary permits and pass that information on to you.
Please show up on time to your session with your makeup and hair done and bring any changes of clothes with you. My packages are based on time spent actively shooting pictures, so you’ll never be charged for the time it takes to move between locations or change clothes. I do ask that if you choose a package with more than one setting, that the different locations be within 15 minutes’ driving time of one another.
When we book your session, I will usually ask you to send me a Pinterest board or some photos you like that fit the theme of our shoot. I won’t emulate another photographer’s pictures but I’d love to see what you like and take inspiration from it. And if there is anything you really don’t want to include in your session, just let me know.
I ask for a 50% nonrefundable deposit at the time of booking to hold your appointment. This guarantees your spot on my calendar. If weather is bad on the day of your photoshoot, we can either move indoors or reschedule for a different day. Bad weather means rain, thunderstorms with lightning in the area, or heavy snow. Clouds are just fine – they actually act as a giant softbox and create fantastic lighting!
I prefer to schedule outdoor photo sessions in the late afternoon or early morning – the high sun during the middle of the day is usually quite harsh. Photos that take place in your home or at another indoor location can be scheduled at any time during the day. I will work with you to determine what is the best time that works with your schedule. I’m available 7 days a week with no extra fees for odd times.
Please fill out my contact form. I will send you a PDF of my most popular packages, and we can work together to create a customized photoshoot for you that fits within your budget. My promise to you with pricing is what you see is what you get – taxes are included and there are no hidden fees for you to pay before you receive your images.
